Walter works to get the best out of each athlete by drawing on his wealth of experience both as a competitor and coach, but he also listened to my feedback and modified his programmes when necessary to achieve the best outcomes and race preparedness. - Brett

Jayden Kuijpers -Cycling

Jayden is a member of the NZ Skoda cycling team and has finished as high as 2nd in the U19 NZ Junior cycling championship.

Walters coaching style and enthusiasm towards making sure you are getting the best out of yourself sets himself above the rest. Having a coach with these attributes not only allows me to achieve my goals, but exceed them and get the results I thought were not even possible.  -  Jayden

Tanya Lee-Parker  - Triathlete

Tanya resides in Singapore and is extremely successful over several sporting codes and distances.

Walter has been a fantastic coach over the years.  He has got me ready for every random race I wanted to do around the world or continent that I happen to be living in. I'm not the most diligent of trainers  and sometimes  just say bugger off and I am sure every time he reads this on my log he rolls his eyes. But he sticks  with me and this has meant  I've been successful in reaching my goals for each and every random weird event I've entered. Thank you. - Tanya

Sheryl des Jardines - Triathlete

Sheryl has an extensive background in endurance sport. She recently finished 1st in the 60-64 age catagory in the 70.3 Ironman to qaulify for the World 70 .3 Championship being held in Taupo this November 2020.

I really enjoy Walter's coaching, his programmes provide variety and a point of difference, which keeps me enthusiastic and motivated in a sport I've been involved in for decades. I believe our partnership has been the key to my recent successes.  - Sheryl

Sophie Spencer -Triathlete Someone said: "you should go and have a chat with Walter!"   And Walter has been my coach now for the past three years.Walter has helped me strengthen my problem areas as I have grown; he works with me to help me achieve my goals  (Silver at NZ Secondary School Tri Nationals, Silver at Future Championz, 3rd Overall Secondary Schools North Island Individual Cycling Champs); and it feels like a team effort. He doesn't just write you a program, and tells you to get on with it, he checks in, gives you feedback on what I can do better. Thank you, Walter, I couldn't have done it without you.

Simon Ellingham -Triathlete

Simon used to race in the Porsche Carrera cup in Australia and has competed in the famous Bathurst endurance car event successfully in Mt Panorama Australia. With a new goal and fitness challenge to compete in Ironman 70.3, Simon is now focused on triathlon.

Walter is a pleasure to work with and extremely helpful in getting me up to speed in a sport which I had zero experience in. His enthusiasm makes some of the toughest workouts much more bearable. Looking forward to continuing to work with Walter to build towards my first Half Ironman. - Simon

Geoff Bull - Triathlete

Commitment to each and every session springs to mind when I think of Geoff.

I was recommended I teamed up with Walter for the 2020 season. I have found Walter extremely knowledgeable and fundamental to my training . Returning from injury, his program allowed me to make significant improvements without aggravating old injury's , resulting in a 11 minute PB over 70.3 distance .He is personally invested in his athletes and I have no hesitation in recommending him as a coach .
